Get your Billplz Secret key

Your Secret Key authenticates every API request you make to Billplz. You'll need it to start integrating, whether you're setting up a plugin or building a custom integration.

Before you begin

• Your Billplz account must be verified and active.
• If you're testing, retrieve your Secret Key from your sandbox dashboard — sandbox and production accounts have separate keys.

Step 1: Go to Settings

In your Billplz dashboard, click your account name in the top right corner. Select Settings from the dropdown.

Step 2: Open Keys & Integration

On the Settings page, click the Keys & Integration tab.

Step 3: Copy your Secret Key

Under Billplz Secret Key, click Copy Billplz Secret Key. This copies the key to your clipboard.

Use this key in the Authorization header of your API requests.
