This guide walks you through creating a Billplz account, from individual identity verification to organization setup. The full process takes about 10 minutes, with bank account verification completing within 3 business days.
Before you begin
You'll need the following to complete registration:
- A valid MyKad or passport for identity verification
- Your organization's SSM/ROC/ROS registration number
- A bank account registered under your organization's name
- A working mobile number and email address for OTP verification
Step 1: Start registration
Go to billplz.com and click Sign up.

Step 2: Create your SSO account
Enter your email address, complete the reCAPTCHA, and click Continue. By continuing, you agree to the Billplz User Agreement and Privacy Policy.

On the next screen, check your inbox for a verification code sent to your email address. Enter the OTP code and click Sign Up.

Step 3: Verify your phone number
Enter your mobile number and click Send Code via SMS. Enter the 6-digit code and click Continue.

Step 4: Enter your identification details
Select your identification type (MyKad or Passport). Enter your full name exactly as it appears on your ID, then enter your ID number.
Complete the reCAPTCHA and click Continue.

Step 5: Complete e-KYC verification
Review your identification details on the Verify your identity screen. If anything is incorrect, click Edit to update. When ready, click Continue.

If you are on a desktop browser, a QR code appears. Scan it with your mobile device to continue the verification on your phone. Do not close your desktop browser while the verification is in progress.

On your mobile device, follow the CTOS on-screen instructions to photograph your MyKad (front and back) and take a selfie.
Once verification is complete, return to your desktop browser and click Refresh status to continue.

Step 6: Add your organization
Enter your organization's email address. Check your inbox for the verification code, enter it, and click Continue.
This email becomes your organization's contact email for payment notifications.

Step 7: Enter your organization details
Enter the following:
- Name as per SSM / ROC / Registration: must match your registration certificate exactly, including suffixes like "Sdn Bhd" or "PLT"
- SSM / ROC / Registration Number
- Organization Bank Name: select from the dropdown
- Organization Bank Account Number: must be registered under your organization's name
Complete the reCAPTCHA and click Continue.

Step 8: Wait for bank account verification
Your account is now created. Bank account verification takes up to 3 business days. You receive an email notification once verification is complete.

Step 9: Authorize your account
After your bank account is verified, log in to billplz.com. The Authorization Required screen appears.
Review the terms and conditions and the payment methods that are activated by default:
- FPX Online Banking: fully active
- DuitNow QR: activates after approval by Billplz (within a few days)
- Visa / Mastercard: active for collection, but payouts are held until you complete KYB verification
Tick the checkbox to confirm you have read and agree to the terms, then click Authorize.

What's next
Your account is ready to accept FPX payments immediately. To unlock full access to card payment payouts and higher collection limits, complete your KYB (Know Your Business) verification. You can do this at any time from Settings > Account Settings > KYB Verification. See Understanding identity verification (KYC and KYB) for the full document list and submission process.
